Liberal Democrat Scottish affairs spokesperson Christine Jardine has today criticised the UK Government’s budget for not doing enough to support households hit by the cost of living crisis as well as criticising the rise in whisky duties.
Callowland Skip Day was a great success, residents were very grateful to Callowland Councillors Dawn and Ian for providing the skips and helping to clear up the area. Dawn said, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Mayor Peter Taylor, all the volunteers and residents who helped to secure the spaces for the skips and for helping on the day. You are all appreciated and I am sure you will agree our ward looks better!”
A new restaurant for people with dementia and their carers will reopen next week. The idea, which is a collaboration between Watford Council and West Herts College, is to create an inter-generational Dementia-Friendly dining experience, delivered by students at the college.
