Responding to the ONS released stats today showing that the number of sickness absence days are at record highs since 2004, Liberal Democrat Health and Social Care Spokesperson Daisy Cooper said:
Helen Morgan MP has today presented a bill to Parliament that aims to tackle the crisis in social care by recruiting and retaining care workers, as well as paying them a fair wage.
We have a long history of campaigning for a fair deal for Bedford Borough on health. It is essential that our residents can easily access the health services they need. The best way to do this is for the government to ensure that health infrastructure is in place before housing is built.
