Finally, after huge local lobbying, Kent County Council have published the decision notice to do the works needed to protect and reopen the Folkestone Road of Remembrance. Works could start as soon as May, and are likely to take up to a year.
Liberal Democrat MP, Liz Jarvis, is calling for an immediate 10p cut in fuel duty, as part of an emergency transport package “to keep Britain moving”.
