Wiltshire Council thanks residents for their patience during waste collection disruption

Waste collection services have been seeing disruption in recent weeks, but the council is working hard to make improvements Wiltshire Council has thanked residents for their patience amid the ongoing recent service disruption to waste collection services, which is due to a severe staff shortage at its contractor, Hills Municipal Collections. The council is working hard with Hills Municipal Collections to mitigate the impact of the disruption, but for the time being some people could see a delay to their recycling collections of up to three days after their usual collection day, as the council looks to prioritise emptying general household, garden waste and clinical waste bins.
