Garden Tax petition of nearly 7000 signatures is delivered to Teignbridge District Council!

Some of the LibDem team for Teignbridge handed in a nearly 7000 signature strong petition today to Teignbridge District Council.
Despite huge opposition to the Garden Tax, Teignbridge Conservatives today voted in favour of the tax at today's annual budget meeting.
The additional £35 charge is set to come in after the elections in May.
The Liberal Democrats believe the move will reduce recycling, increase fly tipping and is a way of raising council tax through the back door.
The only way to stop the tax is to make sure the Liberal Democrats take back control of the council in May.
